Like the service, like the loaner cars, but question the warrantee you put on your service. Not the fastest mechanics in the world, but very friendly and good to work with.

South Street Auto crew were able to service my car promptly and thoroughly. Repairs were explained before completed so there were no surprises. Their expertise and professionalism are much appreciated.

Repair work was fine for an oil change and brake switch replacement. South Street is slow to assess and quote and complete the repair. Same thing happened when I came in January. Second, South Street appears to do all the minor repairs quickly so they have something to charge for and then charges more for additional diagnostics. Then comes back with an additional $1,600 in repairs that they propose afterwards. This is after having the car for 5 days for an oil change and brake switch replacement. We did not approve the remaining repairs because the $1,900 of proposed total repair costs was 40-50% of the value of the car. Brett is a respectful service rep.

I've been "taken" by more mechanics than I care to count. Finally, right in my hometown, I've found the very best car care center anywhere. These guys (and gals) know cars and know how to treat their customers. They are the most honest, most knowledgeable folks I've ever come across. They've been in business in downtown Rochester for decades and it's no wonder. They are the best.

This place is amazing! I had 2 quotes before coming here and they significantly beat the prices ($250 less than one of the quotes). Every employee I interacted with was friendly and professional, Karley was especially great! They kept their word on repair times and when to expect phone calls, by far the best experience I've had in a repair/ maintenance setting. I like that they offer free loaner cars (didn't use one this time- but nice to know it is an option). The interior of the building was clean and customer service went above and beyond- will definitely be returning for future business.

I feel my car is in professional hands when I use South Street. I never have to worry that they will "make work"on my car. They are sooooo easy to deal with AND make it sooooooo easy to keep up with necessary work like oil changes by offering several options: waiting, drop off, loaners and pick up. I really appreciate these extras and have had to use them. I feel their pricing is fair. They go out of their way to explain, if necessary, and have plenty of people working so you don't have to stand around. I used to use the dealer for my upkeep, but now prefer South Street to keep my car up.
